OUR WRITTEN DOCUMENTS
Our philosophy is that the big stuff rarely fails; it’s usually the small details and a chain of events that bring about failures. We write our specifications with this in mind, pating strict attention to detail. Our audience is the public bid contractor with lots of experience converting document inconsistencies into change orders, and the 30-year-old architec who’s never done CA before, the likely other person that will be utilizing our specifications.
The specifications we deliver are prepared with modern and effective contract language developed in collaboration with the nation’s leading authority on contract drafting, attorney Ken Adams, whom we retain to assist us in resolving new language issues as they arise. This alliance has resulted in better documents that lead to fewer conflicts during construction. No other specifier in the country goes to such lengths to improve and maintain the quality of their specifications.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Door hardware and elevators are both important aspects of every project, and normally beyond the expertise of most architects and specifiers alike, so we’re pleased to be unique among our peers in providing both of these services.
We’ve also expanded our offerings beyond the traditional scope of specifications services to include door and hardware consulting (performed by Rex Vanard, the design professional who manages this aspect of our business)
